Service like FMGZone has numerous search options to profile your search, desgined by keeping Foreign Medical Graduates requirements in mind. This will greatly help you pin point the programs that best match your profile and preferences. Where in FREIDA and or Program websites offers limited search options and they are primary for a wider audience focusing US graduates.

It is based on our best estimaed algorithm to assess a program's willingness to accept IMG applicants. The higher the number is the better for IMGs

PCC is the way you can check if a program is compatible to your profile. This especially helpful identifying compatible programs within your NRMP® List of Unfilled Programs during the Post-Match NRMP® Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program® (SOAP®)

Customized list is the programs list matching your profile. You set your medical background in the search box and it is automatically saved into your account and the listed programs stay the same until you change your search criteria. Also you can add programs to your short list so even if you change your criteria, the shortlisted programs stay in your short list. Just click on the favorite star on each program that you may like to add into or remove from the short list.

There are a total of 14 parameters you can set to search the database. However, certain parameters like step 1 and step 1 attempts do not change during your application process so those non volatile factors are to be set to work the algorithm better matach your profile. You can still change most of the items any time you like.

As the name indicates, customized program list is created using the customization matching to your profile settings, however, preferred list is created by adding additional filters as per your preferred criteria you set in the search box.

PCC shortlist is created during the SOAP time. This list will have NRMP unfilled programs compatible to your profile settings. However, Favorite list can be created through out the year while you browse the database using your preferred criteria.
